Tracy's 19...Say What?!

So my baby sis turned the big 1-9 on the 29th and we Hutchisons do what we do and it was awesome. This is the ubber cute hat I got for Tracer on her birthday.

Totally cute right?  If you know Tracy, you know she rarely wears clothes.  She pretty much lives her days in sweats so I thought this hat might spruce up her wardrobe. We took Tracy to lunch for her birthday and after lunch we went and visited Marcia and the chillin'.  Ever was so excited to see Eden.  She just wanted to hold her.  We thought it was hilarious.  Here are some pictures of her practicing to be a big sister.

We told Ever to make her funny face and this is the face she gave us.  Oh man, she's hilarious!

Ever would not let Eden out of her sight...where ever Eden was that's where you'd find Ever.  As you can see I couldn't even hold my baby without Ever on my lap as well. Marcia, you better guard your baby like a hawk.

True to form we had an AWESOME theme for Tracy's birthday.  She wanted a Mexican Feista with the essence of a tiger.  Here is what we came up with.  (mind you that cake is ALL me...ya I'm awesome)

On a completely different note, what's a post without some cute pictures of my baby.  While I was up at my mom's I gave her a bath in the sink and Tracy and I were dying because she was just lounging out.  I was cracking up.

I also snagged this jumper from Marcia before I left and Eden is loving it.  She just sits in there and plays forever, which is great for me, since it gives me some time to eat and get laundry done.  Thanks Marc!

MAN! that's a cute baby

Oh I forgot...About a week ago Miss Eden went to her 4 month check up. Here are her stats:

Weight: 15 lbs 6 oz  94%

Height: 25 inchc  90%

Head: 34cm   70%

Height/Weight Combined 40%

So pretty much the doctor told me that she's proportionate for her height and weight, just a really big 4 month old. He also told me that I could start feeding her fruits and veggies...but that's an entire post itself...so stay tuned.

Hardware Ranch and 4 MONTHS OLD!

A few weeks back my family bundled up and headed to Logan to Hardware Ranch.  We took a sleigh ride to go see the elk. Ever couldn't be happier.  You'd think the child had won the lottery.  She couldn't stop smiling or laughing. She was so happy to be outside with her favorite people...which of course is my family.

Here is Eden all bundled up.  I kid you not that girl could barely move she was so bundled.  She didn't care much for the elk.  She just slept.  If I moved the blanket off her face she would grunt and then snuggle her face back into the blanket.  Maybe next year she'll actually look at the elk.

Here we are on the wagon driving around.  It was so fun to see the little kids get excited about the elk.  Bennett wouldn't stop talking.  We had no idea what he was saying but we could tell he was having a good time. Ever, on the other hand, was having the time of her life.  The wagon was really bumpy and so my dad was holding onto her to make sure she didn't fall over but a couple of times there he about lost her over the side.  Ever could have cared less.  She thought she was on a roller coaster ride and was loving every bounce and bump along the way.

There were over 500 elk in this field.  Despite the lovely aroma, it was pretty fun to see the animals so up close.

On a completely different note, one morning I was trying to get ready for the day and I asked Les to watch Eden for a minute so I could get some stuff done.  Well, when I came out of the bedroom this is how I found them.

Eden is SO her father's child.  she is a TV junkie just like him.  I just started die laughing when I saw them.  She wouldn't even look at the camera because she was too involved with the football that was on the TV. 

Eden is getting so big and I've decided I'm totally one of those moms who is sad to see her baby grow. So lately I've been taken A TON of pictures.

Eden loves her bumbo.  The first time I put her in it she just kept smiling.  She feels so big to be sitting up and she just smiles at you like "look how big I am!"  It's adorable!

She is still working on the whole sitting up straight part though.  She tends to lean and sometimes it looks like she doing the hoola hoop but she LOVES her bumbo.

Eden also loves her swing.  She hasn't quite figured out the jumping part yet but she loves to sit in it and twirl around.  I think she just likes feeling like she standing up all by herself.  Man, she's so stinking cute!

My baby is 4 months old today.  Time is just flying by.  I am already dreading the coming August.  I really don't want to leave my baby and head back to school so I'm determined to have the best/busiest 8 months I can.  Here are some of the things Eden is doing:

*She loves to sit up in her bumbo

*She loves to grab anything within arms reach and immedately shove it in her mouth

*She is talking up a storm

*She thinks it hilarious when she has a stinky bum and I change it and tell her pee-eww.  She laughs and laughs when I make a face and tell her she's disgusting

*She loves to lay under her play mat and grab all the toys

*She can almost roll over...we are still working on this one

*She has definately entered "stranger danger" mood.  She doesn't want anyone to hold her except me (wtih of course the rare exception of Les...and that's only sometimes)

Eden and I had a little photo shoot the other day for her 4 month pictures.  I'm still trying to decide which ones I like the best....I'll let you decide.

Wow! It's been a While!

Okay, so I know I haven't blogged in like forever but I have good reason.  My computer is so dumb.  The fan on it quit working, so every time I go and try and update my blog by the time I get all my pictures uploaded, my computer overheats and shuts down...thus loosing all the pictures I just uploaded.  This has happened every time I've tried to blog in the past 2 weeks so I gave up there for a bit, but I'm finally determined to blog so I saved all my pictures and I'm blogging from work.   So brace yourself...this could be a LONG post. Where to begin...okay how 'bout here...

Ear Piercing:

A week before Christmas I went with my sister-in-law Jody and Tracy to get Eden's ear pierced.  We just went to the mall to the Piercing Pagoda and got them done.  Eden was a trooper.  She only cried for a minute but then was just fine. Here are some pictures from that day.

Here she is giving the guy who was coming at her with the piercing gun a weird look...and for good reason too!  I must say the guy who was piercing her ears was a bit hippy-ish.  I kind of gave him the 3rd degree when we got there.  Here was our conversation:

Me: Have you done this before?

Hippy: Lots

Me: Have you done BABIES before?

Hippy: Lots

Me: How long have you been doing this?

Hippy:  For like 2 years...I promise I do this alot.  I am professionally trained.

Me: Alright...I guess you can do it.

Here we are in the middle of the ordeal....For all of you who look at her face and immediately think "bad mommy!"  in my own defense...she was mostly scared, not hurt...The sound of the gun made her jump...not so much the pain...so I say to you...back off. jk

Here we are after...yes, I know she looks drugged but she was not i assure you.  She was just a little upset, but again she was laughing and cooing like 5 minutes later

Christmas:

Here is Eden with Santa at the Rose Family Christmas party.  This was her first time meeting Santa and she didn't seem to care one way or the other. We'll just see how smoothly it goes next year.

Here is my little snow bunny.  She was getting ready to go out and play in the snow for the first time.  Isn't her face classic.  I can just picture her saying..."I can't put my arms down!"  Oh I love it!

This is Eden on Christmas Eve up at my parents.  She was all tuckered out from the festivites.  I wish she didn't have that bib on cuz her outfit was so cute but my little daughter has become the drool queen and so a bib is a MUST from now on.

Here is Eden on Christmas Morning in her christmas jammies (again with the bib)  This was the first time I put her in her Bumbo and she was loving it.  She felt so big.  She just sat at the table and smiled and smiled.  I am so glad she likes her bumbo cuz it makes eating for me a whole lot easier.

Here is Eden with all her loot.  I tell you what...this girl made it out like a bandit. Les and I decided not to get her anything and I'm glad we didn't.  She got A TON!  What a spoiled little girl...oh well she sure is cute.

Here are some AWESOME bibs that Natalie made her here and just in time to...like I said my daughter is the drool queen lately and now she is VERY fasionable with these bibs.  I don't know what happened but Natalie got all crafty after moving to Cali...she also made me an awesome apron that I love but I forgot to take a picture of it, but it is awesome.

Here are the cutest little slippers ever!  My mom bought these for Eden and I love them.  They are so soft and warm and they keep her little toes oh so warm.

Overall we had a great Christmas and were very spoiled by our families.  I alway feel so lucky that I have such an awesome family and I can't wait for Eden to get older so we can enjoy them together.  I was going to post Eden's 3month photos but since she is turning 4 months in 4 days I'll just post those ones later so stay tuned!
