Lately I've been having a flare up of the crafties...I've been oh so crafty.  Here is the carseat cover I made Christy for the new babe... I think it turned out great.

She's having a little boy and I LOVED this fabric...so cute!

I even got fancy with the stitching.

We do buttons, not bows for boys.

I also wanted to make some onesies for my sisters that are with child.  I saw this on a blog and thought it would be cute and fun.  Plus, it was super easy.

I got some cute fabric from the store, along with some WonderUnder and I traced all my designed on the WonderUnder and then ironed it onto my fabric.

Then I just cut out my shapes

Next I ironed them onto my onesies

Marcia is having a girl so I did 12 different onesies

Lastly I just hand stitched around the shapes

I got crafty and stitched in some guitar strings to give it a little extra flare

I must credit Tracy and my mom for whipping up these two designs...I didn't like the ones I had so they just reached into their bag-o-tricks and pulled these out.

I am quite talented...I must say...

This weekend while I was up at my parents doing "TOP SECRET" stuff (more on this to come) We decided to get the kiddies together and take some Easter pictures.  It was a mad house.

This is the best picture I got...and it's only of Eden and Ever. It went down hill DRASTICALLY after this shot.

Lastly, and if you've made it this far, bless your heart.  My little baby isn't so little anymore and is 6 FREAKING months old.  How does this happen?! I swear we just brought her home yesterday.

We went to the doctor yesterday and here are her stats:

17lbs 8oz 75%

27in 95%

42.5cm 75%

Weight/Height Ratio: 45%

We got a big girl, she's about the size of a 9 month old.  I just hope she slows her growing down.  It's too fast for mommy.  I need her to be little a little bit longer. 

Here are the things Eden loves to do:

*Her diet now consist of peaches, pairs, bananas, apples and avacodos and she loves them all!

*She is a rolling machine.  I can't put her on the ground without her rolling over and then yelling at me to roll her back (we are still working on the belly to back roll)

*She loves to throw things and then have you bend her over to pick them up and then she promptly throws them again.  It's her favorite game

*Eden started swimming lessons this month and is already a fish.  She doesn't mind the water on her face or being dunked.  She merely bats her eyes and then kicks her arms and legs around.  She loves the water.

*Eden is a gabber gabber.  She just gabbers all day long.  It makes me laugh.

* I swear Eden can say "da da."  she says it all the time when Les isn't around.  I try and get her to say "ma ma" but she just smiles at me and does nothing. 

This picture cracks me up.  She was trying to reach her binki...I can just hear her saying "Gimmie that binki!!"

St. Patty's Day

So I wasn't as fun as I wanted to be for St. Patty's Day.  I had dreams of making green pancakes with green milk and the whole nine yards but since my child can't eat anything but baby food I settled for this...

Avacados...we tried them for the first time and Eden loves them.  She even opened her mouth really wide to get the next bite.

I wasn't feeding her fast enough, so she decided she needed to help mamma.

While I was trying to get ready to go for a walk (and before I got her dressed for the day) I found her like this in the living room.

She's in her purple jammies and she's reading her purple book...LOVE HER! She rolled over to get this book and it just so happen to be her purple book.  Cracks me up!

I just NEED this baby!!!  I can't imagine life without her.  She makes me smile.

On a different note, my cute friend Chelsey came over for a St. Patrick's Day walk.  After the walk Eden and Henry decided to chat it up on the couch.

They were so cute.  They would just sit and look at each other.  Eden would squeal and Henry would laugh at her.  It was so stinking cute!

I could not get them to both look at me and smile.  They were WAY to involved with looking and touching each other's arms to look at me for a picture.  I wish I had a video, cuz it was too funny.

Sorry one more picture of my baby.  I seriously love this little girl.  I love everything about her.  I even love her when she screams. I just can't get enough.  I'm going to echo my friend Mitzi....even though she depends on me for everything...I mean everything....I still think I need her a little more than she needs me.

Un-Private

Okay so I was private but now I'm not anymore...with this whole link to the side that tells you when people update their blog...I feel like no one checks my blog...maybe I'm wrong, but I hardly check my friend's blog that are private cuz it doesn't automatically tell me when they update and so I forget...I'm lame, I know.

So anyway, I'm not private anymore so feel free to add me to your update section so you will be notified when I update my blog. 

Crafts, Fish and Fun

So I've been a major blog slacker lately.  I've done so much in the past few weeks but I haven't had my camera.  Spring is definately in the air cuz I've been busy busy busy.  A few weeks back the fam came down and we went to the Living Planet Aquarium.  The kiddies had so much fun.

Eden L.O.V.E.S the aquarium.  It's her fav.  She loves all the big fish.  I wish I had video of her looking at the big fish.  She screams her guts out every time one swims by the window.  I can't tell if it's excited screaming or scared screaming...either way it's hilarious!

All Brennen wanted to do was look at the sharks.  The first half of the Aquarium he just ran through it cuz he wanted to see the sharks. 

Ever was as happy as can be. She would just run and scream in delight.  She was just happy to be surrounded by ALL her favorite people.

Eden wasn't in the best of mood.  She is still a little unsure of my family when we haven't seen them for a while, but by the end of the day she was all smiles.

How cool is this picture?  The jellyfish were my favorite. 

How cute is this?  These two are a hoot.  Love them!

So I wasn't suppose to use a flash when taking a picture of the octopus, but in my own defense I didn't see the sign until after I took the picture.  I hope I didn't blind the poor thing.

Here is Brennen looking at "his sharks."  He loved them.  Every time one would swim by he would jump and then laugh his head off. 

 

My mom let all the grandkids pick out one toy at the gift shop.  Ever just couldn't decide what she wanted.

On a completely different note, I have been VERY crafty lately.  My cute friend Nancy was having a baby shower and so I HAND MADE her this card...

Her nursery is a griaffe (spelling?!) theme...I must say, BRAVO

I also made Christy a car seat cover but I failed to take a picture of it.  It's very cute. I'll have to take a picture before I give it to her.  Marcia was so kind and made my sister in law Julie some ties for her little boy Bronson.  I thought they turned out AWESOME!  Julie loves them.

Marcia you are OH SO crafty...one day I will be as crafty as you...but it may take some time.

One ANOTHER note, I tried to take some St. Patrick's Day pictures for the grandparents today but my child was not cooperating at all.  So we are going to have to take another go at it...So my St. Patty's Day cards might be a little late, but she sure is cute!
