Ever's Bday and 30 Weeks

So my sweet little Ever turned 1 yesterday. I can't believe she's one already...craziness! Well, I know I say it a lot but this baby has really drawn out my crafty side. My mom said I must have been a late bloomer cuz I wasn't ever THIS crafty! Here is the awesome present I hand made for Ever...right down to the box! Thank heavens my sister-in-law has a cricket. Oh the wonderful things you can do with one. So thank you Julie!

I bought Ever these super cute binnies from a little bouquet here in Salt Lake. It's called Sassy Babies and it's bad news bears! I made Les come with me to get these otherwise I could have easily spent like $200 on only a few things. Luckily these were on sale for half price and they will fit ever till she's like 10 yrs old. So I snagged a few for little Eden and packed them away for now.

Here are the sweet cupcakes I helped Marcia make for the party...see those leaves...all me! If the frosting would have been a little more stiff they would have been more realistic but between the weight of the Airhead and softness of the frosting there was no holding those suckers up so we did the best we could.

I can't take credit for these cupcakes...all Marcia...I did, however, frost the cupcakes.

These are all the present little Ever got...she made a stealing and it was only immediate family!

Here's the birthday girl with Grandma JuJu. She wasn't having us taking all these pictures. So serious!

This was hilarious! Robert MADE Bennett go down the slipin' slide. Like it or not. Needless to say that Bennett when running for mommy after that one. Silly dad!

Here is Marcia and Ever opening the gifts. As usually Ever was only interested in the tissue paper and boxes, but Marcia was pretty stoked about all the awesome gifts she got.

Christy bought Ever this ADORABLE purse. It a skirt purse and has little front and back pockets on it. Christy called it her "Diva Purse". It was very cute.

This was Ever's favorite gift. All the kiddies were fighting over this one. If one child would leave the vicinity of the car another would come swooping in for the steal. Bennett even tried climbing though the side window to get in before Ever did. It was quite the sight and hilarious non the less!

OKay Okay I've been hounded for some belly shots so here you have it. This is me in all my glory at 30 weeks. 9 weeks and counting....(that me hoping for a week early!)

Baseball Weekend

This weekend Les had a baseball tornament here in salt lake. He hasn't played softball for like 5 years, so this was a big deal. His dad put together a team to play in this tornament and both his brother Chad and nephew Braxton played on his team. They went 3 and 3 which is pretty good considering almost every person on the team hadn't played baseball in a couple of years, their pitcher was 59 years old and they didn't even have a practice before the tornament started. So they were pretty excited to make it out of pool play.

This is Braxton up against the big dogs. He felt pretty dang cool playing with all these old guys and holding his own.

This is Chad bringing it home.

And this is Les at the last game. He was exhausted by this point because they had already played two games back to back. You would think walking around behind a mower would mean you are in pretty good shape but think again...he was beat. His quads hurt so bad he couldn't even bend them while up to bat...

K How cute is this photo?! Bronson was just so happy to be at the ball park. He was cracking us up all weekend. He would watch the boys up to bad and yell "NICE!" or "SWING" as the ball was pitched. It was very cute.

This also made us laugh. He would take my mother in law's purse and walk around with it on his shoulder and try to make a run for the car. Once we started chasing him this is what he did...

Leave the loot and break for it!

JUNE...brace yourself!

Father's Day:

On Father's day we spent the morning at the cabin with Les's parent and then in the afternoon we headed to Ogden to see my Father. I'm totally awesome and make him THE COOLEST gift ever. He really wanted a helmet for Father's day and he wanted to buy it himself so he just wanted money from us kids. Well...me being the crafty person I am I decided to make him a helmet out of money! Here's what it looked like

Pretty sweet right?! I thought so myself. I really made it out of paper mache' old school style and then lined the inside with money so he could actually use the money. Everyone thought it was a real helmet...little did they know it was just another fabulous Marie Creation.

It even fit him pretty good. Man, my dad is lucky to have a daughter like me!

Marcia made this awesome dessert for Father's day too and since I couldn't eat it without getting sick I decided to take a picture of it instead to capture it's beauty.

Now, I don't know if you all know that my family participated in the Ragnar Relay this year. It's a team of 12 people that run over 188 miles from Logan to Park City. I totally was planning on running in the race with my family but my uterus had other plans so I become their biggest fan. And just to prove how much I supported them I made this awesome sign for them. Since it was a monsoon at the finish line I didn't get to hold my sign out for them to see, so they next day I had them take a picture with it...biggest fan?...I think I made my point.

Founder's Day:

Ahh Founder's Day...how I love the. Founder's day is my family's 4th of July so I headed up friday night and was ready to rock and roll the next day. I had to get up at 7am so I could support Natalie and Marcia who were running in the first ever founder's day 5k. I didn't have a sign but I was there at the finish line cheering them on.

After the race we went home and had some breakfast and then got ready for the parade. We found an awesome strip of sidewalk and plopped it down. We had a great technique and yelled "RIGHT HERE!" while we waved the little one's arms around. We made out with a butt load of candy. I kid you not. We scored. Here's the parade bracade.

Bennett was so cute picking up candy. He would waddle over to candy and pick up one at a time. Brennen on the other hand would pick up a piece of candy and insist on eating that piece of candy immediately. I was going to just take it easy and walk the parade from a chair being preggos and all but I found myself jumping up for the good candy and racing into the street to grab it before anyone else could. I just the parade just brought out the kid in me.

After the parade we cooled off at my mom's house and had a little pool party. It was such a nice day and FINALLY there was no rain.

We even busted out the popsicles....as you can tell Ever was LOVIN' that.

Here we are at the Salmon bake that night. I hate fish but I eat the salmon every year on Founder's day. I don't know what they put in it but it is mmm mmm good.

We even played some football while hanging out at the park eating salmon...good times!

So that pretty much sums up my June. It was jammed pack full of fun. I love hanging out with my family and spending time in Ogden. I look forward to June every year. I can't wait till next year when little Eden can be apart of all the festivies as well.

She's Crafty!

Okay so I have a TON to post but last night and this morning I pulled out the Ol' Memory Mixer and made these invitations for Ever. I was so proud of myself I just had to hurry and post them. Aren't they cute?! I'm good, I know.

Now this isn't the exact picture Marcia will be using. I pulled this off of an invitation she made so keep that in mind...I know there is a big blue flower that doesn't really "go". I'll try and post all my pictures and updates tomorrow so stay tuned!

My Husband's Child

So if any of you know my husband you know that his diet consists of meat and potatoes and any variation thereof...He does not eat fruit and does not eat veggies (except of course potatoes and corn) Well, I've come to conclude that I am indeed carrying his child. Every time I eat any type of fruit or veggie I literally am ill. At first I thought it was a coincidence but it indeed is not. If I eat an apple...sick. If I eat grapes...sick. pineapple....sick. lettuce....sick. tomatoes....sick etc. My diet has been limited to grains and meat. I loathe meat! Before I meet Les I was a vegetarian and now the only thing I can eat without getting ill is chicken and occasionally red meat.

This is very upsetting for me because I love fruit and veggies. I would eat them all day if I could. I'm sickened to think that my child is going to eat like my husband. It's a very boring diet and I run out of things to make for dinner very quickly. So I'm just hoping its a pregnancy thing and when Eden is born I can shove fruits and veggies down her throat and make her like them. To make matters worst I can't ever find anything to eat. I have no cravings and NOTHING sounds good to me. Usually I get to a point where I get sick from not eating and I force myself to eat toast or something to put the hunger pains at bay. This pregnancy stuff I exhausting!

24 Weeks...Let the Count Down Begin

So I'm officially 24 weeks and it totally weirds me out. Is it normal to feel like I can't wait for it to be September already so I can hold my little baby but then at the same time be completely terrified for whats to come...no only for what the baby has in store but mostly the rapid changes taking place in my body? Is it horrible to completely mortified about what's going to happen to my dear little body? Don't get me wrong I've been wanting a baby for a very long time but I'm not sure I've been wanting the repercussions that my body will take because of it. Every time I try (key word try) and put some pants on I cry a little because they are a little tighter than the last time and now I can't even zip up my zippers! I'm too small for maternity pants but my regular pants with the hair thing trick aren't cutting it either. Oh woe is me!

On a littler note, Eden is moving around like a mad woman. I really am beginning to think that she is a gymnast. Sometimes I can barely move because she seems to be using my internal organs as a trampoline (especially my bladder). Body issues aside, I'm feeling good and am getting excited to finally enter the last stretch of this pregnancy...a mere 100 days to go! Remember when you were in elementary and you knew summer was coming once you hit the 100 days mark? I think it's because you start seeing the double digits. Well, I feel like I'm in elementary school all over again and I even considered making one of those paper train things that you pull off a circle everyday...you know what I'm taking about.

I know a bunch of you have been waiting to see some belly shots since last time you all "claimed" that I didn't even look pregnant. Well, I'm definitely feeling and looking pregnant now. So here's a picture to prove it.

24 weeks
Now for some reason I always take these pictures after I've been working out or something so I always look SO glamorous...so please excuse the no make up or hair not being done.
