THEN...Greg decided he wanted to do the tuck and roll on the beach....here's how it went.

Next, they tried some jumping...Greg has some serious hops!  He gets major air...

The house they got married at is the same house that's on the new show Hawaii 5-0.  I don't watch the show but apparently it's a big deal.  Natalie wanted to take some photos inside to show it off...

I'm not sure what's really going on in these next few pictures.  It looks to me like Greg is trying to eat Natalie head....I dunno...

While Natalie and Greg were taking these pictures the rest of us high tailed it up to the North Shore to the Polynesian Cultural Center.....

I think Natalie was just happy as Greg to be married.  They both were so giddy all day long.

Last Call

So I'm at the airport waiting for my flight to leave....man, I haven't been on an airplane for a while.  Security has stepped it up a notch.  First I kept forgetting to put things in the bin (my camera, liquids, cellphone)  and the security guard kept laughing at me, which is better than yelling at me. Well, I don't know if you've done this lately but then I had to stand in cylinder looking thing while a metal detector orbited around me.  I half thought I was going to travel back in time. 

Well, then the luggage check guy did yell at me.  I didn't put my laptop in a seperate bin.  I put it at the bottom of my bin that had all my stuff.  The security guy pulled aside and got real close to my face and began...
"Okay...at the airport we like you to put your laptop in a seperate bind....all by itself...okay?" (very condesending and treating me like a child)
"Oh I'm sorry.  I didn't know."
"Now I'm going to take your stuff and seperate it from your laptop...okaayyyy"
"Great!  Fantanstic...sorry...."
(sigh from security guy)

Ops!  Note to self.  Make sure you do that next time so you avoid feeling like a 5 year old again. So now here I wait (without my sister....slackers!  they'll probably be late).  It's off to the sun I go.  I'll try and post as much as possible (that's for you Sara...give you something to read all day)!

Fallin' It Up

Holy cow what an awesome weekend this was.  Can I just say the weather was WONDERFUL! Could we please keep this weather all through winter and just alternate between summer and fall.  Eden and I headed up to O-town to throw my fabulous friend Amy (Barrett) Gardner a baby shower....and I forgot my camera!  Can you believe it?  I was so upset but suffice to say...it was totally AWESOME!  I will have to get the pictures that were taken and post them for all to see. 

This morning Eden and I woke up and got all ready for church only to remember that last night was day light savings. So with the extra hour we had, we decided to enjoy it outside.  Today was definately a day I want to always remember.  Just sitting in my parents backyard watching Eden discover and enjoy all the fall has to offer was the best.  She would just keep picking up the leaves and say "ooohhh" and then show it to me.  I just want to soak her up...Every.little.bit.

 

Half a Century

See this pretty lady....

She is FIFTY years old!  That.is.out.of.control.  You all hear me talk about how awesome my family is (...well, cuz it is...) and I think a lot of it has to do with this gal right here.  She's the best!  I know everyone thinks their mom is the best, but I have to say that many people have told me that my mom IS the best...and I tend to believe them. 

I have SO many fun memories growing up and that's because my mom had to deal with 6 crazy kids.  It's amazing she's not more crazy herself!  She did so many fun things with us and I never remember not having a blast when it came to growing up (teenage years excluded). 

SOOO HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!  I hope I can be half as good as a mom as you are to me.  Love you lots!
