2 Months Old!

I know I say this every month but I can't believe that my little baby is 2 months old. Where has the time gone?!  Here are a few things that Eden is doing:
- she sleeps through the night (HOORAY!!)
- she likes to stand when you hold her up
- she coos and talks up a storm
- she can bat at toys hanging in front of her
- she is developing more of a personality each day

As we all now it's Thanksgiving this week and lately I have been so thankful for so many things.  I'm thankful for my husband who has been working so hard so that I could stay home with Eden for the first 2 months.  I'm thankful for my family and the relationship we have, but most of all I'm thankful for my little Eden.  Everyday I look at her and I just can't believe she's mine.  I feel so lucky to have her.  When she smiles at me it melts my heart.  She has the sweetest smile and I thought I'd let you all get a glimps of the sweet little face I get to look at each day.

My Awesome Daughter

I have some pictures to post but I just started back at work and I work all week.  I started my job at American Fork Hosptial working in the pharmacy 3 nights a week from 5pm - 10pm. Next week is a holiday week so I only work one night so I'll be sure to update this blog.  I just wanted to hurry and brag about my awesome little girl.  Last night she slept through the night for the first time.  She must have known I was tired from working all night and decided to let me sleep.  She also must have know that it was my first night working and decided it was about time she slept through the night. What a sweet girl. She slept from 10:30pm to 7:30am and I hope there many more of these nights to come.

More Blessing Pictures

My brother-in-law came up to the cabin this weekend and downloaded all the pictures he took of Eden.  They turned out great.  He is still trying to figure out photoshop so some of these need a little touch up but I think he did a great job.  I have photoshop on my computer and I am trying to figure it out as well, but here are some of my favorite pictures from that day. Oh, I know a couple of people wanted to know where I got her dress.  Well, my wonderful mother bought it for me from Quilted Bear.  Man, I love that place.  It has so many cute things. I can't go in there because I end up spending money which I don't have but anway, that's where she got it.

On a completely different note...on Saturday I went to Barnes and Noble and bought some books to read since I find myself having a lot of time on my hands.  One of the books was Babywise.  Well, I am trying to implement it this week and boy is it rough.  I don't think I want to be too hardcore but I do want to get Eden on a routine and get her sleeping through the night.  We are only on day 1 and there has been a lot of crying for both of us.  My question is this...is it normal for your baby not to nap the full 1 1/2 - 2 hr naps after wake time?  Eden will cry for a good 20 mintues before falling alseep but only sleeps for about an hour before she is awake agin.  She then is a awake for about 45 minutes before she hungry again.  Is this normal?  Any help would be great.  We were already on a 3 hour schedule before I bought this book but I wasn't doing wake time or nap time very well so that's why I wanted to give this a try.  I know it's going to be a little different since I started late but I would love any advice from your babywise moms.  Thanks!

6 Weeks Old and A Blessing

It's still crazy for me to think that 6 weeks ago I had a baby.  It seems so weird sometimes to think that I'm a mom and this litle girl is my responsiblity but then when I look at her cute little face I'm so thankful that she's in my life.  Eden is getting more of a personality each day and I'm so thankful that I get to stay home and take it all in.  I love spending my days with her and I just want to squeeze her guts out she's so cute.  Here are some of the things Eden has been doing.

- She smiles big at mom when I talk to her and tell her how pretty she is. Here's a picture of her when I had her smiling big the other day.  I swear she would be laughing if she knew how.

- She loves looking at all the red, black & white toys I have dangling in her face
- She only wakes up once during the night (which mom loves!)
- She's so close to laughing (I think it's only days away)
- She definately perfers her momma over anyone.  When she's tired, she wants mom and no one else.  I think it's cute but I can definately see this becoming a problem...especially when I start work next week

On Sunday my dad blessed Eden at my home ward in Pleasant View.  He did a great job. I'm so glad my dad was able to bless her.  I think it will give them a special bond....Brennen better watch out!  My brother-in-law Shane came with his professional camera and took a ton of pictures of her and the family but I haven't gotten those pictures yet but I took a couple of pictures on my own.  So until I get those pictures from Shane, here is a sneak peak at my sweet little baby on her special day. 

3rd Annual Hutchison Halloween Hoopla (lots of pictures)

Before I dive into the Hoopla I had to post about Ever.  She LOVES her cousin Eden.  She wants to be where the baby is at all times.  She will come running if I'm feeding the baby and insists on hold the bottle...this doesn't work so well when I'm nursing but Ever loves Eden.  Here's a picture of her giving Eden her binki.  It's very cute and sometimes alarming when Ever smashing the binki in Eden's face even though she has the binki backwards.  She's such a big help.

Now for the Hoopla!  I must say we Hutchison are so much fun and this years hoopla was no exception.  We decorated to the 9's.

My mom and I made these fun favors.  The skeletons are wrapped around napkins.  Yes we are crafty!

There was alot of fun food but somehow I managed not to take any pictures of the food except for the treat I made.  Aren't these fun? My mom helped out a little since I was busy with my child but I think they turned out great.

And now for the costumes.... On Thursday it was my parent's trunk-o-treat for their ward and so we dressed up the kids and took them to the church.  Last year Ever was an egg and we took her old costume and transformed it into Eden's costume this year.  I think it looks awesome if I do say so myself!

Isn't she freaking adorable?!  I was dying.  She's so cute... and if you can't tell she's a baseball. 

We put her in her carseat to go to trunk-o-treat and everyone just starting die laughing. Too funny!

My dad was a baseball player and so Eden was his ball.

Saturday was the big hoopla and it was mandatory to be in costume.

Is this not hilarious?! Oh how I heart my Aunt Jilene. She was runner up for best costume but I think she should have won.

Here's Natalie's costume. She won best costume but I think it was rigged. This costume is good but its not THAT good...I've seen better. She's UP if  you can't tell.

Marcia was shooting for best theme and came in 2nd place. Personally I think she was robbed. Her costumes were hilarious! She made her costume and I was VERY impressed.  I didn't get a picture of Brennen but he was stinking hilarious in his costume.  Marcia even had names for her costumes but I can't remember them. Oh man we are funny.

Is this not awesome?! Me and Tracy were totally robbed of best costume.  You can't even recognize us.  We didn't even get honorable mention! I demand a re-count!!!

Christy and Bennett won best theme. If you can't tell Bennett is a rolling pin...I must admit it was very creative but I still think Marcia should have won...sorry Chris

Here's the whole hoopla gang. 

This year did not disappoint on fun either. Natalie and Christy came up with the howl-o-ween olympics again.  I don't have any pictures of the games cuz I was too busy participating but believe u me they were hilarious.

I must say it was another successful halloween in the Hutchison household.

So Stinking Cute

okay so today I went a little camera crazy and took a ton of pictures of Eden and I just had to post them. 

This picture is acutally from Sunday.  Les was making weird noises at Eden and she thought it was pretty funny.  It was the first time we really saw her smile.

Today I was changing Eden's diaper and getting her ready for th day but I just love naked babies so I hurried and put a bow in her hair and took a picture.  I love my gdiapers and they are super cute too so I had to take a photo.

How cute is this outfit?!  The skirt is a little too big still but it's close enough.  Eden is in between clothes.  Her newborn clothes are fitting a bit snug but 0-3 mo clothes are still a little to big so we have to be creative each day.  I'm so excited for her to fit into all her skirts and tights that I have for her.

1 Month Old

I can't believe Eden is a month old.  Time is flying by but I'm loving every minute of it.  We get to spend our days hanging out at the cabin in the piece and quiet, just me and her and I love it.  She's such a sweet baby and I personally think she gets cuter every day. 

Some of the things Eden's doing are:

*She is starting to smile at you if you sing to her or make weird noises...it isn't just gas anymore
*She will follow you with her eyes if you are walking around the room
*She has been trying to coo but comes out more like a grunt or wimper...we are still working on it

We've been super busy the past week.  Tracy came down to hang out and so we went to Gardner Village for a photo shot in Eden's Halloween outfit.  Here are some of the cute shots we got.

Bronson even joined us for some fun and we convinced him to take some pictures too. He has a dog in his hand and he kept trying to give it to Eden. It was very cute!

They had these cute witches spread through out Gardner Village so we decided to pose with one to remember the day.  Bronson wanted nothing to do with the witches.  He was a little afraid of them so we had to take this picture without him. 

After we went to Garnder Village we went to visit my cute friend Taisha would had twins the same day I had Eden. She was actually due the end of October but her boys wanted to share their birthday with Eden so they came 4 weeks early.

Here is Meric, Eden and Zion.  Eden wasn't so happy to be squished between these two and she kept knocking them over.  It was quite hillarious.  It was fun to see my friend and I don't know how she does it with two.  It takes me long enough to get out the door with just one I can't imagine with two but the boys are very cute and I'm so happy she was able to have these guys. 

I decided the other day that my little girl is going to have quite the pickings of boyfriends.  I know like 8 people who just recently had or is having a boy in the near future...it's craziness.  Les better watch out! 

Yesterday Eden and I went for a walk and I had to bundle her all up cuz it was a little chilly outside... my friend Johnny gave her this outfit and it was so adorable I had to take a picture.
