each of our places had a chocolate egg from Mrs. Cavanaughs (spelling?)....yum!

My mom got the little boys an easter basket (which I was greatly offended that she didn't get me one). She's moved on from children to grandchildren. She could care less if her own kids are there just as long as her grandbabies are...what a gip!

Brennen got a tool set from the easter bunny and he was pretty excited for about two seconds before he found the candy and after he saw the peeps it was off to grandpa to get him to open it

Brennen scored from the easter bunny. He got all sorts of stuff...again me, jealous

Here's Brennen after he successfully suckered grandpa into giving him candy before dinner. He was pretty pleased with himself
So before the grown up had their easter egg hunt we let the boys go first. We wanted to save the bloodshed until the end. It was hillarious to watch the Brennen go for the eggs. He was very meticulous about picking up each egg.

Brennen would pick up an egg and immediately hand it to Marcia to open to see what was inside. He would have been happy with just one egg but Marcia and Kurt made him keep going.

Here's Marcia informing her child that he needs to pick up the egg. Christy and Robert on the other hand had a different approach

Bennett made a killing in the easter egg hunt. He found 7 dollars. Once Marcia found out there was money in the eggs for the little boys she abandoned her child and went racing for the remaining eggs, but all the money eggs had been found.
As you can see there are no pictures of the adult easter egg hunt. It was far too competetive. I was in too big of a hurry to find the bonus eggs ($5) to give someone my camera and explain to them how to take pictures. Not to worry, we all survived the hunt and live to see another day.
Happy Easter Everyone!

We like pictures where my fat is being hidden not all scrunched up and gross!! OH man good post on Easter!!!
I love it, your mom is so creative. Our table at Patti's usually looks the same, I think she still has your mom come and decorate for her. Then she tells us she does it. Man you gotta love Patti.
leave it to Judy to go above and beyond for family festivites. We aren't allowed to have an easter egg hunt til sam gets home.......one more year....
Who made out with the most money? I came in a close second...only 25 cents behind John. Booyah! Judy and Todd know what is up!
